Daniel J Kelly is a multimedia artist. He graduated from the university of Wales in 2004 with a BSc in Multimedia. He then started working for Chase Travel shortly afterwards. His main function was the Design and maintenance of over 50 B2B and B2C websites. He also designed and took part in daily marketing email campaigns and shot and edited promotional videos. He represented the company at sale fairs like the WTM in London.
In 2009 he sought work in the Film Industry. He worked as an assistant director and also as a trainee cameraman on a variety of national and international productions, including, Camelot (HBO), Raw and Love/Hate.
He also started with Cobweb Design where he worked mainly with Joomla in web design. Through this company he started his studio and modelling photography. He still occasionally does work with them.
From there he worked in Courtyard Studios, on a variety of events and casting sessions, mainly as camera operater.
During his life he has also done a lot of travelling, visiting over 50 countries worldwide. One of his passions has always been in travel photography. In 2012 he had the oppurtunity to join Ocean Images in Southhampton. He then worked as a videographer onboard the Holland America Cruise Line. His main function was to capture the amazing places on video and in photographs and produce a DVD of each cruise. He also worked as a portrait photographer.
He has since returned to Dublin. With the downturn in the printing industry and the increase in online digital media, he has started to produce ebooks for online sale with Amazon. (Jan 2013)
